After he gave up to the professional activity ('97), Levy was offered a job in the juniors department from Maccabi Haifa. He didn’t stay too much here, because the coach of the first team, Eli Cohen, offered him the opportunity of being his assistant and then even interim after his resignation from the final laps of the season 1999-2000.
What was next? Once again a position in the Academy, this time a post where he could make the decisions he considered to be good for the development of the young players. The performances he had impressed the leaders of the club who offered him the chance to succeed to Itzhak Schum, who left at Panathinaikos in the summer of 2003.
3 consecutive titles, one Israel Cup and a qualification in the groups of UEFA Cup, the edition 2006-2007 there are performances which helped Levy to give a pertinent answer to those who doubted his professional capacities. Nevertheless, the 5th place obtained in 2008 made him give up and accept a new challenge, Maccabi Petah Tikva, a team where he stayed less than one year.
How do you think that Levy will adapt at Urziceni?
