In their road to the Champions League Steaua slipped over Semedo's lucky boots. See the highlights! (video)
Lights, white-blue flags, banners, hundreds of fans in the stants. What a matchday! Just joking! Now really, there were more stewards than fans in the stands of Unirea's stadium. "Unirea is getting ready for a new beggining!", shouts the stadium announcer. Steaua's fans are starting to make some noise.
No football last night. The game didn't deserve any applause. The home said defended with 9 players, while their opponents still don't know each other. The main attraction? Semedo's orange boots. The crowd is cheering: "C'mon, Semedo! Go, Semedo!". He speak Romanian, but not very well. His orange boots fought with Latovlevici's golden ones the entire first half.
Steaua played tiki-taka but only in the middle. It was just like a Picasso. You couldn't really understand it. If the goals were in the middle in would have been a spectacular game.
Who do i pass with?
Maybe the Champions League ball was the problem. The first shot on goal game in the 22nd minute. It was from Onofras. Brandan looked like he didn't know for which team he is playing. Stancu was close when his ball hit the cross bar and then the side bar.
Maftei was number one
Steaua continued to dissapoint in the second half. All the balls played in Unirea's penalty area were either won by Maftei ori simply landed in Cernea's gloves. Steaua's fans were silenced by Semedo's goal. Unirea's supporters just applauded and then continued to watch Steaua's "training" for the match against Liverpool. Nothing to remember.
