The coach affirms that Steaua has the best team from Romania and he thinks he will manage to finish on the first place only if the team won’t have another play as the one from Tg. Jiu. Stoichiţă does not give up the fight and he makes a promise to the supporters
Steaua is in a crisis of good moments and points in 2010. It lost the contact with CFR, it has 3 points behind CFR Cluj, but also a disadvantage at direct matches, but Stoichiţă announces that he is very sure that he can bring again the title in Ghencea after a break of almost 4 years.
"I have the best players in Romania. I coach the best team from League 1. I said the best team, not a team of the 7th or 10th place, as some people say. It is not my merit that Steaua is still up in classification, but I thank to Mr. Dumitru Dragomir because he said that everything is due to me", declared Stoichiţă.
The coach had spoken then about the atmosphere from the group of Steaua. "I don’t think that the players are affected. The atmosphere is not bad, on the contrary, it is very good, but to obtain the title we must avoid having matches like the one played at Tg. Jiu. With FC Braşov i am not worried that I lack 4 important players. In this group, we have boys who are paid for the same job and they have to do it at the same level. We never bring down the level at Steaua", added "Lippi".

The coach of Steaua commented with humour the fact that he will be again under pressure at the match with FC Braşov, from the lap before Easter. "Pressure? I watched the forecast and I haven’t heard to raise the pressure in the atmosphere at Bucharest on Friday, when the match will be played", declared "Lippi".
"Stoichiţă and Gigi Becali are sick one of each other. Stoichiţă could be taken ill with nerves because of the tension he has to endure. I am sure that from this summer he won’t stay at Steaua anymore"
