Dejan Stankovici, the midfielder from Internazionale Milano, says that he called his team mate Cristi Chivu in order to thank him for the draw obtained by Romania in front of France, result which brings Serbia close to WC 2010.
"I called Chivu and I thanked him for the equal with France. He made me a special gift. If somebody told me last year that on September, 9th we will play our chance of going straight to the World Championship, I would have told that this is a joke", said Dejan Stankovici, according to fcinternews.it.
