The former great international referee Ion Crăciunescu says that there are at least 4 Romanian referees who could lead in the centre the derbies from the last laps and he explains why the Portuguese federation refused to send a team of referees at the derby Dinamo - Poli Timişoara.
"Maybe the Portuguese federation doesn’t have the possibility to send a team of referees at the match Dinamo - Poli. The struggle for the title is cleared in their country, Porto is already championship, but it is not known who is going to degrade. There is also the variant that the Portuguese referees may support the referees from Romania. I don’t have in mind other reasons, but I think this is a problem which can be solved easily.
In this moment, there are at least 4 referees who could lead the derbies. What has Tudor done? He made a mistake at one goal! We shouldn’t exaggerate when we don’t need to. I think that the Romanian centrals are better solutions than the foreigners who had been called to officiate until now", said Crăciunescu for gsp.ro.
