Romania played against Croatia in the last friendly before the vital match against Serbia.
Signs are not good, as Romania lost, 1-2. Marica scored the first goal of the match in the 22nd minute, from inside the box after a Croatian defender tried to clear the ball. The guests turned the match around with the help of Rakitic (28) and Kranjcar (75).
Romania used many substitutions in the second half, Bourceanu (from Oţelul) and Varga (from Sportul, 2nd league) making their debut in the national squad.
