In this morning Steaua decided to dissolve the club's second team from Liga 2.
The team was dissolved and all the players will move to Unirea Urziceni. The now former Steaua II players will have their first training session tonight at 18:00. The only players who won't sign with Unirea are Robinson Zapata and Eugen Baciu. They will join Steaua's first team.
Andrei Ionescu and Mihai Onicaş will also be leaving Steaua and will sign with Unirea. Gabriel Caramarin will be Unirea's new coach.
"Yes, it's true. I gave up Steaua II's place in Liga 2 and i dissolved the team. All the players will sign with Unirea Urziceni and will be there tonight for their first training session at their new club. Steaua will keep only Robinson Zapata and Eugen Baciu from the second team. They will join Ilie Dumitrescu's squad. Also, Andrei Ionescu and Mihai Onicas will join Unirea", said Steaua's owner Gigi Becali for GSP.RO.
Unirea's next match in Liga 1 will be against Steaua!
