DNA issued today a press release through which they announce that they will send up for trial all the persons involved in the corruption scandal from the arbitration, respectively Cornel Penescu, Florin Prunea, Liviu Făcăleaţă, Cristian Libertatu, Marcel Lică, Gheorghe Constantin, Sorin Corpodean, Marcel Savaniu, Aurelian Bogaciu and Cristian Mincă.
The reference to trial will have as result Florin Prunea’s suspension from the position of Director of the Department for International Relations from FRF, in accordance with the press release issued few days ago by the officials from the Football House.

"The prosecutors from National Anticorruption Directorate – The Territorial Service Piteşti ruled to send up for trial of the following defendants:
Penescu Gheorghe Cornel, under preventive arrest, the main shareholder at S.C. PIC S.A. Piteşti, and through this company he is also the main shareholder at the company FOOTBALL CLUB ARGEŞ Piteşti, who was charged with three infractions of giving bribe (two of these offences were committed recurrently), the infraction of buying influence committed recurrently and the infraction initiation and establishment of an organized infraction group;
Făcăleaţă Liviu Ilie, under preventive arrest, general manager at S.C. PIC S.A. Piteşti, who was charged with two infractions of complicity to giving bribe which were committed recurrently, initiation and establishment of an organized infraction group and also the infraction of holding, without authorization some substances classified in the category of drugs;
Libertatu Dan Cristian, under preventive arrest, former director of the County Office for the Customer’s Protection Argeş, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking;
Constantin Gheorghe, under preventive arrest, former president of the Central Commission of Referees within the Romanian Football Federation, who was charged with two infractions of bribe taking and also the infraction of initiation and establishment of an organized infraction group;
Savaniu Marcel, football referee in Division A, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking;
Corpodean Sorin, football referee in Division A, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking;
Bogaciu Dumitru Aurelian, football referee in Division A, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking committed repeatedly;
Lică Marcel, federal observer and vice-president of the Central Commission of Referees, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking;
Pieca Gheorghiţă, administrator of the companies S.C. PIC S.A. and FOOTBALL CLUB ARGEŞ, who was charged with three infractions of complicity to giving bribe committed repeatedly, complicity to buying influence committed repeatedly and also the infraction of initiation and establishment of an organized infraction group;
Mincă Cristian, president of FOOTBALL CLUB ARGEŞ Piteşti, who was charged with the infraction of complicity to buying influence and the infraction of initiation and establishment of an organized infraction group;
Prunea Florian, director for the International Relations within the Romanian Football Federation, who was charged with the infraction of lobbyism committed frequently;
Cîrstina Daniela, director within S.C. PIC S.A., who was charged with the infraction of favoring the law breaker which happened frequently;
Dan Cristian Lucian, football referee in Division A, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking;
Caia Sorin Cristian, football referee in Division A, who was charged with the infraction of bribe taking".
