I owe to him my ascension from the last year. On Thursday night, he hugged us all, he said to us that he loves us"
Mihai Popescu, goalkeeper HCM
"I am the saddest club president in Romania, in spite of the fact that we managed to win the championship. After we enjoyed the title, now we all are crying: players, leaders and close friends"
"I don’t think it was about some problems with the heart because I haven’t seen a man healthier than Zoran, with such a good physical shape. The boys said that sometimes he works just as much as them at the trainings. He didn’t smoke, he didn’t drink coffee or alcohol, only at special events, he didn’t have a gram of fat and he took a lot of care of him! He left us at the age of 45 years old; he was on the highest point of the success!"
Nurhan Ali, executive director HCM
"We all are shocked, this is news that terrifies anybody, being a young man, of 44 years old. It is more tragic because he was a healthy man, full of life, who agitated himself on the bench and lived every match at maximum intensity"
Cristian Gaţu president FRH
